WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE BEING 29?

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE BEING 29?

OMG! I will turn 30 in just a month. πŸ˜„πŸ˜…

Can you believe that? Because I honestly can’t!

Life has been so busy, and a lot has happened since my last blog post. Here’s a glimpse:

1. WORKING ON MY BIG DREAM πŸ”‘πŸ“ΆπŸ†

My big dream isn’t easy, but I’m almost there. Of course, there were obstacles and people that tried to hold me back. Sure, I played a part in the challenges too, but I’m proud of myself for pushing through, even when I was completely exhausted.

At some points, it felt like the lyrics from a song: "I guess my best wasn't good enough." The heartbreak stung, but I realized dwelling on misfortune only hurt me.

So I decided to gather myself, accept my fate, and move on. We heal, grow, and turn setbacks into strength.

I hope you, dear reader, can take something from this: even in loss, there’s power in rising again.

2. A TIME FOR HEALING 🌱☕πŸ™πŸ˜‡

After the storm, I finally had the rest I didn’t know I desperately needed. For about two months, I paused. I reflected and felt grateful to God, realizing that this pause was more necessary than rushing toward my dream.

I’ve been chasing this dream for years, always bouncing back after every fall. Quick recovery was a must, yet God’s healing showed me the importance of rest. Now, I’m more at peace, happy, and deeply grateful for life, lessons, and His guidance.

3. SIDE HUSTLES πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Life hasn’t been all smooth. Losing my father years ago left a silent wound. I mourned quietly—so quietly that even my family didn’t notice.

That loss reshaped me. I became less competitive, more compassionate, humble, and humanized. I realized what truly matters in life, beyond titles and achievements.

Yes, slowing down impacted my career growth, but do I regret it? Only a little—because I wanted to give my mother the life she deserves. Otherwise, I treasure the transformation: I discovered my truest self.

After healing, I started exploring content creation on social media as a side hustle. Creativity has always been my outlet, and turning it into something purposeful has been fulfilling. I’ve connected with people worldwide, received appreciation for my work, and built a portfolio without even realizing it.

While I’m not earning big yet, I’m proud of sharing my personality and passion with the world—even in a low-key way.

THE MAIN EVENT: WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE BEING 29? πŸ’–

One day, I sat in silence, reflecting, and realized: Being 29 is the age where I feel most myself.

Every fiber of my being feels present. I have more control over my actions, thoughts, and emotions. I can say “No” firmly, shut out distractions, and preserve my energy for what truly matters.

At 29, time suddenly feels precious. I no longer waste hours scrolling on social media. God is my utmost priority, and I start every morning with prayer.

Saying goodbye to my 20s is bittersweet—the youth and energy linger—but I feel excited for the new beginnings that my 30s will bring.

I’ve noticed changes: I crave less social interaction, detach more easily, avoid unnecessary arguments, and prioritize my peace.

Am I okay with that? Absolutely. I’ve finally found the version of myself I’ve been chasing—the one who pursues her dreams with passion and lives fully in the present.

My message to you, whatever your age: never let age dim your spark. As long as you have life, you have the chance to make a difference and shine your light.

That’s it for now. Till my next post! πŸ’–πŸ˜ŠπŸ’ͺ
